About Blue Ridge United

Founded in 1977, Blue Ridge United is a nonprofit youth soccer organization serving Winchester, Frederick County, and the surrounding Shenandoah Valley. We provide soccer opportunities for players of all ages and ability levels, from a child’s first experience with the game through competitive travel soccer and beyond.

Our goal is to create an environment where players can learn, compete, build confidence, and develop a lifelong connection to the game. Through recreational, developmental, and competitive programming; Blue Ridge United is committed to providing quality coaching, positive experiences, and accessible opportunities for families throughout our community.

Our Staff

Blue Ridge United’s professional staff manages the day-to-day operations of the club and oversees our programming, coaching, player development, facilities, events, registration, and community partnerships. Our staff works closely with our coaches and volunteers to provide a consistent and organized experience for every player and family.

Our Board of Directors

As a nonprofit organization, Blue Ridge United is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors made up of community members who provide leadership, oversight, and strategic direction for the club. The Board works alongside the Executive Director to support the long-term health of the organization, responsible stewardship of its resources, and continued investment in players, coaches, facilities, and the community we serve.



Together, our staff, Board, coaches, volunteers, families, and players make Blue Ridge United a community built around the game and united by a shared commitment to developing people through soccer.
