About Us
Our Club
Founded in 1977, Blue Ridge United is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit youth soccer organization serving the City of Winchester, Frederick County and the surrounding community. We are proud to provide recreational, developmental, camps, clinics, and competitive (travel) soccer programs for players ages 2 through 18. Over 1,900 children are impacted each year by the club.
As one of the largest youth soccer clubs in the Shenandoah Valley, BRU strives to provide a positive, wholesome and holistic impact for all community members through the engagement of Players, Parents, Coaches and Volunteers.
What makes Blue Ridge United special is the community behind our name. We are United and Proud. We are rooted in Winchester and Frederick County. We bring players, families, and coaches together through a shared love of soccer and pride in the place we call home.

Blue Ridge United serves our community by providing accessible, player-centered soccer opportunities for athletes of all ages, abilities, and levels of play. Our programs promote sportsmanship, creativity, learning, teamwork, and character in a fun, positive, and safe environment.

We understand players enjoy playing and believe everyone works harder to accomplish their goals when they have fun playing the game.
