Coaches Information Minimize

BRYSA Recreational Soccer always needs coaches for all age groups both boys and girls.

There are two requirements:

1.      A Background Check - Through Frederick County Parks & Recreation Department.  It’s good for two years. You supply us your first, middle and last name and an email address. We submit it to FCPRD and then someone from One Source, Inc. will contact you via email for more information.

2.      A Coaching Certificate - BRYSA prefers that your coaching certificate be soccer related like from the US Soccer Federation (USSF) or the National Soccer Coaches of America Association (NSCAA). But FCPRD also approves certificates from the American Sport Education Program (ASEP).

If you do not think that you have a current background check or you need to get a coaching certificate, please contact BRYSA at 662-6380 or email the BRYSA administrator, Susan Simpson at susan@whiteproperties.net.

There will be an ASEP coaching class held by Frederick County Parks and Rec on Saturday, March 19 from 10am to Noon at Evendale Elementary School.

A reminder that a coach may not have practices or games until they have a current background check and a coaching certificate!
