Online registration for the Fall season is closed
On line registration for the fall season is now closed. If you are interested in playing this fall, please contact Susan at 662-6380. We might be able to place you on a team that needs players.
Goal Safety

As we move into the spring season, coaches, referees and parents are reminded to inspect, BEFORE EVERY PRACTICE, TRAINING ACTIVITY, AND GAME (1) all goal posts and nets for safety, that they are properly anchored and secured, and (2) the field and areas around the field that is being used. For further information, please see the US Youth Soccer website, http://www.usyouthsoccer.org/news/story.asp?story_id=619

BRYSA needs everyone's help to check goals including parents. Make sure someone checks the goals before every practice and every game.
Also, do not let your players jump or hang on the goals. This just tears them up and could cause the goal to tip over. If a problem is found, please do not use the goal or allow players around the goal. Call the BRYSA hotline 662-6380 and we will contact the appropriate parks & rec department to get the problem fixed.
FIELD CLOSURES & THE WEATHER
Field Closures
Soccer is played in the rain but there will be times when the fields are too wet to play.
Field closure announcements will be posted on the web site at
www.brysa.org and on the hotline - 662-6380 as follows:

Weekdays - after 3:30 pm
Saturday's - after 8 am

BRYSA DOES NOT close fields that is the responsiblility of the Parks & Rec departments. When we are told the fields are closed, we post the message. Please do not practice or play when the fields are closed.

Thunder & Lightning
BRYSA observes the 30 minute rule with regards to thunder or lightning. Basically if you hear thunder or see lightning - GET OFF THE FIELD IMMEDIATELY & SEEK SHELTER
You have to wait 30 minutes before you can get back on the field. If you hear thunder or see lightning during that time period then the 30 minutes starts over. It has to be clear for 30 minutes straight.
Parents, Coaches & Referees please observe this policy.
